The only other questionable part is the barrel band/bayonet lug. Very few M1 carbines were produced during the war with the type III barrel. Exit status 1 arduino.
It seems there are fairly few markings on this carbine. Some I've figured out, others not so much. Side of the receiver is marked 9A Bolt is marked IO or OI, depending on how you read it. The slide is from Rock-Ola Trigger housing is Inland The recoil block is marked D.I., or O.I. Inside the slingwell is HI The handgaurd is marked OI or, IO The above two seem to fit with manfucturers for Inland. Barrle band is 3rd style with bayonet lug, and is marked AMCO The mag release has a small WA marked above a large M That's all I can find. Any help on any of them? Comments are closed.
